Viewing Reference Elements from the Master Schedule while in a Working Schedule

Updated over 3 weeks ago

You can view an immediate predecessor and successor from the connected Master Schedule that fall outside the timeframe of the Working Schedule. This helps you better understand task dependencies and stay oriented within your schedule.

How It Works

  • Immediate predecessor and successor that falls outside the timeframe of the Working Schedule will be visible in a dotted appearance and have an “MS” badge that stands for Master Schedule.

  • The stubs provide context but cannot be edited or connected to new activities. Stubs can be repositioned within the canvas for better visibility.

  • Hovering over the MS element displays a tooltip with the schedule name.

  • When multiple predecessors or successors exist, a diagonal dotted stub will indicate their presence along with the total count.

Clicking the stub will display all the predecessors or successors
