Latest Update: 8-17-2026
If you are having trouble with copy/paste functionality on the canvas as well as table, you should check if Planera app has permission to access browser clipboard.
Allow global access
Open Chrome browser Settings.
Select Security & Privacy > Site Settings > Permissions > Clipboard.
Select Allow.
Allow domain-specific access
This action is not necessary if you have enabled global access to your clipboard.
Go to the browser setting for the clipboard (chrome://settings/content/clipboard).
In Allowed to see your clipboard make sure the https://app.planera.io:443 domain is listed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Copy/paste stopped working after I updated Chrome. What should I check first?
Check your clipboard permissions first: go to Chrome Settings > Security & Privacy > Site Settings > Permissions > Clipboard, and make sure access is set to Allow.
Do I need to allow both global and domain-specific clipboard access?
No. Domain-specific access is only necessary if you haven't already enabled global clipboard access. If global access is on, you can skip the domain-specific step.
Which domain needs clipboard access?
https://app.planera.io:443 needs to be listed under "Allowed to see your clipboard" in chrome://settings/content/clipboard.
Does this affect copy/paste in both Canvas and Table?
Yes. Clipboard permission issues affect copy/paste functionality across both the Canvas and Table views.
I fixed the Chrome permission but it's still not working. What else could it be?
Double check that the domain is spelled exactly as https://app.planera.io:443 in your allowed clipboard list, and try restarting the browser after changing the permission, since some clipboard permission changes require a fresh page load to take effect.
