Field Schedule provides a focused view, enabling you to break activities into tasks with durations and logical connections within each activity. You can create detailed short duration plans for your team. Field Schedules create a slice from an Existing Master Schedule.

How to Create a Slice from an Existing Master Schedule

Pull a slice from a selected master schedule by choosing the from date and the number of weeks.

  1. Click "New Project" on the "All Projects" page


  2. On the Create a New Project page, select "Field Schedule"


  3. After selecting Field Schedule, you'll be taken to the next section. Select a Master Schedule from the dropdown then a version


  4. Set the Field Schedule start date and lookahead duration in weeks, then click "Next"

    Note: The number of weeks you select when creating a Field Schedule becomes the minimum duration for all future field schedule versions.

  5. Select bookmarks, resources, and codes to import. Under Bookmarks, check All Bookmarks to bring your Master Schedule bookmarks into the Field Schedule.

    Note: This is a one-time import. Bookmarks will not automatically sync with future Field Schedule versions.

  6. Enter a name, set a default calendar and Create Project
