Important Points to Note Before Importing a P6 project into Planera
What's Imported: All logic, durations, start/finish milestones (with supported constraints), progress updates, activity codes, UDFs, labor, equipment resources (including cost loading) and WBS order.
Conversion: LOE activities convert to Timespan resources and hourly durations convert to days.
For a smooth importing experience make sure:
All durations are whole and not fractional
Calendars are setup with consistent work hours for any exceptions.
If Import Fails: A log file will be generated, and Planera Customer Success will assist with the issue.
