Frequently Asked Questions

What happens to a report if I delete one of the projects included in it?

The report keeps running with the remaining projects. Removing a project from Planera doesn't delete the report itself, but you'll want to edit the projects list to keep the report accurate going forward.

Can more than one person edit or view the same report?

Yes. Any user with at least Member access to your organization can view saved reports. If multiple people edit a report's project list around the same time, whichever change is saved last is what persists, so it's worth confirming with your team before making changes to a shared report.

What's the difference between "Save Changes" and "Save As New"?

"Save Changes" updates the report everyone already has access to, so anyone who opens it afterward sees your edits. "Save As New" creates a separate report with your changes, leaving the original untouched.

If I remove a project from my view without saving, does that affect what other people see?

No. Adding or removing projects from the right dropdown without saving only changes your current view. The report's saved configuration, and what other people see when they load it, stays the same until someone saves a change.

Can I delete a report that someone else created?

Any user with at least Member access can delete a saved report from the three-dot menu. Since this affects everyone who uses that report, confirm with your team before deleting one you didn't create.
