How to compare data of a version to its corresponding Baseline or Previous version

Updated this week

Compare the Baseline (if assigned) and previous version’s Start Date, Finish Date, Duration, Free Float, and Total Float, and track their variance in the Table and Gantt view.

Variance shows the difference between the values in version you are currently on and those in the Baseline and/or the Previous Version. It helps you assess variance directly in the Table and Gantt view.

How to compare data from the Table

  1. Navigate to the Variance tab and open the column panel from the dropdown in the tab or by clicking "Add Fields" in the last column.

  2. Hover over Baseline or Previous Version under Variance, then toggle the desired values to add them to the table.

  • Note: If no baseline is assigned, click "Assign Baseline" to set one. Learn more

How to compare data from the Gantt

  1. Click “Edit Columns” and hover over Baseline or Previous Version

  2. Toggle the desired values to add the columns
